8th International ISFT© Congress

This year’s theme: “Forest and its Potential for Health: From Evidence to Sustainable Practice”.

The 8th International Congress of the International Society of Forest Therapy (ISFT©), takes place 13-15 October 2026 at IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences, Austria.

On Wednesday, several institutions from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern will be actively involved in the scientific program. Also the certification office will give a talk, entitled: "Certification and Use of Healing Forests as Places for Health and Rehabilitation".

Overall, the congress offers opportunities to exchange research results and ideas and the possibility to engage with leading experts and practitioners from around the world.

Beside the programme featuring international speakers in several sessions, a guided field trip to the Göttweig Healing Forest, certified by us, the International Office Healing Forest is planned for the afternoon of the second day.
